“It is not fear of failure that keeps you in this place, it is fear of what other people will think of your failure” – Rachel Hollis
If you know me, you know that I am NOT, I repeat, NOT one to pitch a sale. However, I DO love sharing what I love. So, that is exactly what I’m doing. I have completely stepped out of my comfort zone, (like 500 miles outside it). When I started my blog and influencing, I did something, I never thought I could do. I began sharing myself to the world, with openly talking about real struggles, life, my likes, my favorites, my family and so on. I opened up communications lines, I never thought possible, even to strangers. Now, the then ‘strangers’ are now ‘friends’. Did I have anxieties? Most definitely. Was I scared? oh, HELL YES! I’ll be honest when I say, I am so glad I did though, because along the way, I have met some amazing ‘strangers’ I can now call friends. So onto my point, I did this again, I stepped out of my box, into a whole new thing I never thought I ‘could’ do…. there is that word again, ‘could’. The mere fact is, I have always been able to do things, but out of fear, i just did not. So I’m working on myself. Realizing, I ‘CAN‘! Fear of failing has always been my excuse. Better yet, what others will think of my failure, just as the above quote states. However, my goal, is to worry less about them, and do more of me. Just do Stefnie. So here I am. About to open up into a whole new ballgame. And I’m totally okay with that. I’ll be myself, continue sharing what I love.
Recently, I reached out to a gal-pal in regards to trying hair product from MONAT. I have seen it here and there advertised on some of my favorite Instagram Influencers accounts. It appeared to be amazing products with great people behind it. However, skeptical, I ignored my instincts to contact them. But, over and over, I would find myself lost, in watching videos, tutorials, product reviews all on MONAT. Still a skeptic, I continued to ignore my urge. Finally, in October, I reached out, asking a gazillion (because, yes, that is totally a word) questions to my new friend, Jamie, in which she answered and proceeded to send me some samples. I fell in love over a weekend…. my normal hair product of choice is Aveda and has been since 2004, living in Florida. I’ve always loved their all natural ingredients, cruelty-free products, you know, the good stuff. Likewise, MONAT also practices the same, all natural ingredients, eco-friendly, cruelty-free, and vegan.
After using the samples over a weekend, I was sold, but kept to myself about it. I did, however, tell my amazing husband though, that he was buying me new product for Christmas, and he vowed not to use it (I may have forgot to mention, I threatened him not to use it, but thats neither here nor there). So here we are, near Christmas, I didn’t quite make it to the day. I’ve been using the product and am so pleased with the overall softness, manageability and silkiness to my mane. Loving it so much, I went ahead and took the plunge to become a Market Partner. Really just a fancy title to be able to share the products with you! This is not something I would normally do, but I thought about it, had anxiety about it, and finally, decided I’m going to do this. Not to be annoying by any means. But this gives me an opportunity to overcome my fear of sharing myself with the world like I have been trying to do.
I have been using the Revive Shampoo + Revitalize Conditioner, followed by the Blow Out Cream and the Split-end Mender. I add a touch of the Rejuveniqe Oil which adds a touch of antioxidants to help with overall shine, protection and preservation of each hair strand.
Speaking of the Rejuveniqe Oil, this oil is made up of a blend of over 13 natural plant and essential oils (and smells amazing), that are rich in omega fatty acids and antioxidants. I have been adding a few drops to my moisturizer in the mornings, as well as, adding a dab to my hand lotion. With the winter here, the cold, and cracking hands are more common, I have found this to be exceptionally beneficial.
I have experimented with MONAT product and I am completely and utterly surprised and excited about the feel and glow of my locks. If you flip back through some pics, throughout my blog and mostly on my Instagram feed, you see that shine? That was MONAT doing its thannnggg.
