Simply Stef’s January Favorites

How is it (mid) February already? Seriously, how? I’m not complaining, I’m definitely okay with this, the quicker we get out of this winter biznessss, the quicker we get to warmer weather.  Is anyone else over winter? It makes me rethink why in the world we live in the north.  Winter is definitely my least favorite time of the year. It affects everything, my wardrobe, my mental state, so I’m definitely looking forward to sunshine and beach time. So, I have a few January favorites that I love so much, that you’ll continue seeing them in the months ahead, first and foremost….

1. Free People Black Busted Knee Skinny Jean

These jeans….these jeans! I seriously have no pair better than my Free People Busted Knee Skinnies. I have these in the faded black as well as dark blue. I wear them everyday that ya’ll probably wonder if I own another pair. And I do, I own lots of jeans, but these give me all the feels, in all the right places. They are stretchy, comfortable and just like sweats, seriously I can nap in these suckers. They are TTS and a higher rise, which of course I love. If you’re on the lookout for a great pair of distressed denim, these are your guys! You will not be disappointed.

2. Express (Minus the Leather) Quilted Moto Jacket

I am wearing this guy a little much, but I seriously cannot help it. I love it, and I love styling it up or down. I opted for a size down and I am happy I did.  I like my leather and denim jackets a little more snug than loose. More times than not, I do not zip/button them up anyhow. This is a perfect accessory addition to give any outfit just a touch of edge. If you want to feel like a badass, wear this. You’ll look and play the part!

3. The North Face Aconcagua Vest

You can do no wrong by purchasing this vest. It is the perfect fall/winter/spring layer to overcome any bit of cold. It looks cute with literally anything! True to size and one of my favorite grab-and-go layers.

4. Patagonia Los Gatos Fleece

I need fuzzy in my life. Plain and simple. And this is amongst my favorite of all fuzzy’s. Versatile, I have paired with leggings, denim, and even denim shorts! Its my all year round favorite. If you like room in your hoodies/pullovers, I would recommend sizing up!

5. Report Amber Rhinestone Slip-on Sneaker

I said it before, I had and still have a major shoe crush. They sneaks are just what I needed in my life. True to size, these shiny gems are a must! Wear all year long, there is never not a time these babies can’t be shown off!

6. Express Camo Baseball Hat & 7. Carhartt Acrylic Hat

Because we all need that favorite ‘hide-your-hair’ day accessory, and here are my two go-to’s. As a mom, we tend to put ourselves last, and that means, quick shower, no washing of the hair, am I right? So naturally, we need to hide the greased-mess! Dry Shampoo only works its magic for so long, after that you’re basically thrown to the wolves. So thats when I call for a hat-day! Camo will be around forever, it goes with any pattern in my book of non-existent rules. A Beanie, is a girls like sixth best friend. So there you have it. My go to hide that mane accessory!
